PLEASE NOTE: THE TOOTHED SPLINES TO FIT S6E/T AND WILL NOT FIT THE S5 ENGINES SO PLEASE CHECK BEFORE PURCHASSING!
SEND US AN IMAGE OF YOUR ENGINE IF UNSURE, FOR MODELS WHERE THE REED INTAKE MOUNTS TO THE CRANKCASE AND NOT THE CYLINDER!
Removing old clutch:
Always use the correct pulling tools and holders!
Clutch nut/crankshaft thread is an anti thread. clockwise to loosen and anti clockwise to tighten
1. Remove clutch nut (3) and Belleville washer (4).
2. Remove clutch (13) and 2.5mm spacer washer (14) behind your old clutch.
3. Check clutch bell brass centre bush (7) for side to side/up and down play on crankshaft and clutch bell (12) lining for excessive wear, if wear is excessive then replace either or both.
Also check condition of teeth on rear of clutch bell.
Failure to inspect the clutch bell (7+12) for excessive wear will result in destroying your new clutch in which we take no responsibility for!
Inspect the thin 0.8mm shim washer (9) at the rear of clutch bell also!

Fitting the new clutch:
Reverse the procedure above, clean crankshaft thread and clutch nut of any old thread lock and oil.
Use loctite 242 on crankshaft thread and thread inside clutch nut (3).
Torque the clutch nut (3) to 50-55 nm.
Leave to dry for 24 hours before filling with oil.
